Job summary

Omnicare, a CVS Health Company, is seeking a Front End Pharmacy Technician for the 2nd shift in Chandler, AZ. This role supports the closed-door pharmacy by entering orders, partnering with the pharmacist to ensure accuracy, and delivering strong customer service.

Required: state-certified/licensed pharmacy technician and 1+ year of experience. Anticipated 40 hours per week with comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits, PTO and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician as required by state law
• 1+ year of experience as a pharmacy technician

Responsibilities

• Triaging customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required
• Calculating and/or verifying correct dosage based on prescriptions
• Assist in reviewing narcotic Rx’s to ensure timely processing
• Providing dispensing pharmacist with information on allergies, drug interactions, and other flagged items
• Creating and maintaining accurate customer records
