Job summary

Forman Mills Inc. is seeking a Front End Manager (FEM) responsible for all front-end operations including registers, service desk, cash office, and cash management. You will hire, schedule, and lead a high-energy team to deliver a fast and friendly checkout.

You'll monitor performance, review daily reports, and enforce company policies while coordinating with Store Manager and Loss Prevention to optimize front-end efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to work varied hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience managing a front-end team in a high-volume retail environment.
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities; proficient with basic math and computer use.

Responsibilities

• Schedule front-end staffing to meet business needs without overspending payroll.
• Ensure a fast and friendly checkout experience with proper line control.
• Monitor cashiers' performance and conduct audits as needed.
• Review reports daily/weekly and escalate issues to Store Manager and Loss Prevention.
• Lead morning meetings to discuss sales, cash management, and front-end initiatives.
• Enforce company policies and maintain front-end standards.
