Job summary

Ardagh Group in Fremont, Ohio is seeking a Lead to assist in all aspects of operations. You will provide crew leadership from the front, ensuring safety and operational standards are met while modeling safe work practices and rapid issue resolution.

The role includes coordinating with the Production Supervisor on priorities, overseeing changeovers, assisting with preventive maintenance in Fiix, training in Front-End processes, and supporting plant employees across shifts.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership abilities including mentorship and coaching.
• Mechanical aptitude; Front End Maintainer experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Front End can process and ability to navigate computer-based programs.
• Willingness to participate in continued professional development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist in all aspects of operations.
• Provide crew leadership and ensure safety and standards.
• Coordinate with Production Supervisor on priorities and tasks.
• Support changeovers and equipment maintenance activities.
• Assist with Preventative Maintenance (PM) in Fiix (daily/weekly/monthly).
• Support safety training completion in MyLearning and front-end processes.
• Operate equipment and assist production as directed.
