Job summary

Ardagh Group in Ohio seeks a Lead to assist in all aspects of Operations, providing crew leadership, ensuring safety and high production standards in the Front End can process. You will lead from the front, help with shift handoffs, and support the Production Supervisor on priorities and changeovers.

The role involves hands-on equipment operation, daily/weekly maintenance entry, and collaboration with QA and safety training teams via MyLearning.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership abilities including mentorship and coaching.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude; Front End Maintainer experience preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Front End can process.
• Ability to navigate computer-based programs.
• Willingness to participate in continued professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide crew leadership - lead from the front, ensuring safety and operational standards are met.
• Schedule - Leads will report 30 minutes before shift start to help with shift handoff and crew set up for the day.
• Assist and fill in for Production Supervisor which includes running crew when necessary.
• Relay priorities - review priorities and projects with the Production Supervisor.
• Check and determine need for changeovers and coordinate with Production Supervisor.
• Check machines and analyze any safety, mechanical, or operational issues.
• Assist Supervisor with Preventative Maintenance (PM) completion and entry into Fiix - daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Partner with Production Supervisor QAS review, HFI containment and structured problem solving.
• Assist line employees and maintainers with changeovers, breaks, equipment breakdowns, etc.
• Partner with Production Supervisor to support crew safety training completion in MyLearning.
• Lead will assist with training in the Front-End process area.
• Operate equipment and assist production, as directed.
• Perform other duties, assigned by Supervisor.
