Job summary

Martin Marietta in Prescott, AZ seeks a Sales/Yard Loader to safely operate a front-end loader in an aggregate yard. You will load finished products into customer trucks or railcars while maintaining stockpile integrity and supporting yard operations.

As a frontline representative, you will manage traffic, oversee visiting drivers, and perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment and operations running smoothly, following MSHA rules and our Safety First culture.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or relevant experience.
• 6 months to 1 year loader operation experience preferred.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate front-end loaders to move raw materials to customer vehicles, ensuring accurate weight distribution and material types.
• Regulate the flow of materials to and from conveyors, surge piles, chutes, and storage bins to maximize plant production.
• Maintain the quality and separation of various product stockpiles to prevent contamination and ensure environmental compliance.
• May operate other mobile equipment as needed, including haul trucks, excavators, or skid steers depending on site requirements.
• Maintain safe working speeds and manage the flow of external truck drivers and equipment within the yard to prevent accidents.
