Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH Company, seeks a Loader Operator to support daily asphalt plant production by operating heavy equipment and maintaining stockpiles. You will assist with plant operations and adhere to safety standards within a fast-paced environment.

The role requires knowledge of heavy equipment, a willingness to work nights/weekends if needed, and teamwork to maintain production flow and material quality. This position is based in Texas Materials’ Central Texas area.

Qualifications

• Relevant heavy equipment knowledge and experience required.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to follow procedures.
• Willingness to work as part of a production team and perform duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Operate a front-end loader to move, load and supply aggregate materials to bins and hoppers.
• Maintain organized stockpiles and ensure proper storage of materials.
• Monitor material quality and report inconsistencies to plant staff.
• Perform basic equipment checks and routine maintenance (fueling, cleaning, inspections).
• Assist with general plant upkeep and support other production tasks as needed.
• Follow all company and OSHA safety procedures at all times.
• Communicate effectively with plant operators, truck drivers, and crew members to ensure smooth production flow.
