Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Store Supervisor to lead front-end and fulfillment operations, ensure staffing, and drive exceptional customer service. You will coach, mentor, and develop associates while maintaining safety and efficiency standards in a dynamic retail environment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional partners, participate in hiring decisions, and manage day-to-day store performance. This role emphasizes operational excellence and strong leadership across departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 4 years of experience in a retail environment (or 5 years if education requirement is not met).
• Experience providing direction or supervision to teams (with or without direct report responsibility).
• Experience supporting or participating in training, mentoring and developing associates.
• Experience working cross-functionally.
• Experience Using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Leads and assigns team activities to ensure adequate staffing and customer service.
• Participates in interviews and input on new associate selection as needed.
• Connects daily with team to understand challenges and escalate as needed.
• Provides coaching and performance feedback; partners with ASM for disciplinary actions.
• Encourages sharing ideas and best practices to deliver outstanding customer service and support activities.
• Empowers others to make decisions while guiding when necessary.
• Recognizes achievement and drives associate growth and development.
• Focuses on safety, shrink prevention, and readiness of store areas.
