Job summary

Fresh Thyme Market is seeking a Coordinator to ensure efficient checkout operations and friendly, accurate service at the front registers. You will maintain cash control, assist customers, and uphold company assets while delivering a fast, energetic shopping experience.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 2–3 years of retail experience, and at least one year in a supervisory role. Knowledge of food safety and Serv Safe certification is valued, along with mentoring hourly staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Previous experience in natural foods industry is a plus.
• Serv Safe Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures customers receive outstanding service through the checkout lanes.
• Greets customers entering store and responds promptly to customer needs.
• Oversees accurate and efficient operation of all cash registers.
• Receives payment by cash, check, credit cards, gift cards, or automatic debits.
• Models exceptional, fast and friendly customer service.
• Maintains clean and orderly checkout areas and ensures accuracy of POS transactions.
