Job summary

Fresh Thyme Market is seeking a Coordinator to oversee front-end transactions, ensure accurate cash handling, and deliver friendly, efficient customer service. You will support register operations, respond to customer needs, and uphold safety and cleanliness standards across the checkout area.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 2–3 years in retail, and at least 1 year in a supervisory role; Serv Safe certification is a plus and benefits include paid parental leave and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Previous experience in a natural foods industry is a plus.
• Serv Safe Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures customers receive outstanding service through the checkout lanes.
• Greets customers entering store and responds promptly to customer needs.
• Oversees accurate and efficient operation of all cash registers.
• Receives payment by cash, check, credit cards, gift cards, or automatic debits.
• Operates cash register and displays cost, tax and rebates on monitor.
• Maintains clean checkout areas and proper handling of cash.
