Responsibilities

Smile and provide prompt, accurate and friendly service while engaging customers to create a positive shopping experience.
Greet each customer and use the customer's name whenever possible.
Unload customers' groceries from cart to belt and group items for bagging.
Follow correct bagging procedures for different bag types.
Scan orders and handle payment transactions per standard practice.
Follow procedures for refunds and error corrections.
Maintain accurate cash control and perform overrides when needed.
Assist customers with To-Go orders and take customer orders to their car when applicable.
Ensure front-end area and work station are neat and clean; report issues as needed.
