Job summary

Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital is seeking a part-time Front End Associate to help keep the checkout area running smoothly and greet customers.

You will assist customers, bag groceries, locate items, keep carts clean, and support the Front End Manager in daily tasks, including maintaining store cleanliness and safety.

This role emphasizes friendly service and efficient assistance in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers when within ten feet and four seconds of contact, responds to requests for service and assistance in a timely manner, exceeding customer expectations
• Assists customers by finding items and helping them to their car
• Bags groceries with efficient use of bags
• Checks for bottom of the basket
• Retrieves shopping carts from parking lot and returns them to proper location
• Retrieves stray baskets and returns them to proper area
• Maintains cleanliness of carts and baskets by removing trash and discards
• Moves items from shelves to front, organizing products to be accessible
• Performs basic cleaning of store and maintains floor cleanliness log
• Returns stray items and perishables to proper areas promptly
• Removes damaged products from sales floor
• Refills bag wells of front end and manages waste and parking lot sweepings
• Performs other related duties as needed as assigned by manager
