Job summary

Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital is seeking a Front End team member to coordinate activities on the shift and deliver high-quality customer service. You will assist with cashier duties, handle money and provide support to customers in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, being at least 21 years old, and the ability to work as part of a team. This is a full-time, on-site position with standard retail hours.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with the public.
• Basic mathematical knowledge and cash handling experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of produce codes required, while able to differentiate between different produce products.
• Basic knowledge of working with computers such as spreadsheets, email, word documents.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers promptly and by name when possible during transactions.
• Monitors front end flow and break schedules to ensure smooth service.
• Performs cash handling tasks, processes money orders, stamps, and other services.
• Ensures register accuracy and follows proper procedures for price integrity.
• Supervises courtesy clerks and general clerks on shift.
• Maintains tidy shelves and clean workstation areas throughout the shift.
• Performs duties of courtesy and general clerks when needed.
• Assists with other related tasks as directed by the Front End Manager.
