Job summary

Kroger is seeking a Front-end/Store Operations professional in McFarland, WI to enhance the customer experience and support department goals. You will work with front-end associates to maintain a welcoming store environment, answer product questions, and help drive department performance.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle stressful situations
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)
• Retail or Customer Service experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Second language (speaking, reading and/or writing)

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome and appreciated by answering questions about products.
• Gain knowledge of products and respond to questions and make suggestions.
• Assist with monitoring and control supply expenses for the department.
• Manage the scheduling of Front-end associates to provide adequate department coverage.
• Assist store management in preparing the store/department budget and reviewing profit and loss reports.
• Collaborate with Front-end associates and promote teamwork.
• Adhere to all local, state and federal laws and company guidelines.
