Job summary

Base-2 Solutions seeks a Front-End Software Engineer 3 to develop high-quality web applications for a DoD program using ReactJS/Angular. Most work is on-site in Bethesda, MD with possible remote days based on client needs.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance eligibility, a bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of experience, and strong HTML/CSS/JS skills. You will test, debug, and collaborate in an Agile environment to deliver robust interfaces.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret with ability to obtain TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of six years of experience in the category field; three additional years may substitute for the degree.
• Experience with modern front-end libraries such as ReactJS and Angular (2+ years).
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Understanding of HTTP requests and JSON data; well-documented code.
• Able to work in a dynamic DoD project environment using Agile methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using ReactJS or Angular.
• Code, test, and debug new and existing web applications.
• Implement and refine user interfaces.
• Conduct unit testing with automated tooling.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams for performance and usability.
• Peer review code written by team members.
• Utilize Docker and Podman for virtualization and environments.
