Job summary

Booker DiMaio, LLC is seeking a Front-End Developer with a strong focus on Section 508 accessibility to ensure the RAD system interfaces are fully usable by individuals with disabilities. This role requires a Top Secret/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph and a hybrid schedule in Annapolis Junction, MD.

Qualifications

• Front-end development with modern JS frameworks (Vue preferred).
• Hands-on testing with JAWS and familiarity with other assistive tech.
• Knowledge of Section 508, WCAG 2.1/2.2, and ARIA practices.
• Semantic HTML, accessible form design, keyboard navigation, focus management.
• Experience with accessibility testing/auditing tools: axe DevTools, WAVE, Pa11y, Lighthouse.
• Git and Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Accessible Front-End Development: design, build, maintain interfaces conforming to 508/WCAG AA.
• 508 Testing & Remediation: use screen readers to identify and fix issues.
• Audit & Documentation: produce accessibility reports for compliance.
• Collaboration: work with UX/UI, developers, and product owners to bake accessibility in.
• Integration & Delivery: integrate automated accessibility testing into CI/CD.
• Ceremonies: participate in Agile sprints, demos, and stakeholder communications.
