Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Front-End Team Member to provide a friendly, efficient checkout experience and assist customers with questions. You will scan items, bag groceries, process payments, and help keep the front end clean and organized throughout the shift.

Responsibilities include restocking, collecting carts, and handling diverse tasks as customer flow shifts. Prior cashier training is valued, with a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ (or 18+ depending on local/state requirements)
• Completion of cashier/front-end training upon hire
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Create a smooth checkout experience for customers
• Scan items, bag groceries, and answer questions
• Process purchases accurately (cash, card, digital)
• Keep the front end clean, organized and running
• Restock supplies and collect carts as needed
• Follow store policies and checkout procedures
• Assist with pricing questions and customer service issues
• Adapt to changing priorities and customer flow
