Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Front-End Team Member to keep the checkout experience smooth and friendly, helping customers complete purchases quickly and accurately.

You’ll scan items, bag groceries, answer questions, and ensure pricing, produce codes, and transactions are handled with care. You’ll rotate between cashier tasks, cart retrieval, stocking, and keeping the front end organized.

Qualifications

• Must meet local age requirements (16 or 18+ depending on state/local laws).
• Completion of cashier/front-end training upon hire.
• Basic math and communication skills required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist at checkout.
• Scan items and process payments (cash, card, digital).
• Bag groceries and help with bagging and product placement.
• Maintain accurate pricing and perform basic cash balancing.
• Return carts, restock supplies, and keep checkout area tidy.
• Address pricing or service questions; escalate when needed.
• Follow store policies and checkout procedures.
• Adapt to changing tasks and customer flow.
• Stand for long periods and assist indoors/outdoors as needed.
