Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Front-End Team Member to create a smooth checkout experience for customers. You will scan items, process payments, bag groceries, and help customers finish purchases with a friendly, efficient approach.

The role keeps the front end organized and running, rotating between tasks such as handling transactions, collecting carts, restocking supplies, and maintaining the checkout area.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ (or 18+ depending on state requirements)
• Completion of cashier/front-end training upon hire
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at checkout and answer questions
• Process purchases including cash, card, and digital payments
• Keep front end organized and clean throughout the shift
• Bag groceries and help with cart retrieval and restocking
• Follow company policies and checkout procedures
