Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Front-End Team Member to provide a smooth checkout experience and friendly service. You’ll help complete purchases, handle transactions, and keep the front end organized throughout the shift.

You’ll rotate between scanning, bagging, answering questions, stocking, and maintaining the checkout area in a fast-paced environment. Prior customer service is helpful, and flexibility for early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Age 16+ or 18+ depending on local/state rules.
• Completion of cashier/front-end training at hire.
• Basic math and communication skills required.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Scan items and process purchases accurately.
• Bag groceries and assist with cart retrieval.
• Answer customer questions and resolve simple issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area.
• Follow store policies and register procedures.
• Assist with restocking and general front-end upkeep.
