Job summary

Food Lion in Scaggsville, MD is seeking a Front End Associate to provide fast, friendly service at the register and sales floor. You will greet customers, process transactions, assist with store front-end tasks, and help maintain accurate cash handling and store presentation.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to learn multiple tasks; previous retail or cashier experience is helpful.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Smile and provide prompt, accurate and friendly service while engaging customers to create a positive shopping experience.
Greet each customer and use their name whenever possible.
Maintain knowledge of office procedures including cash reports, deposits and related services.
Ensure front end area presents neatly and services are performed accurately and on time.
Report register malfunctions and ensure MVP savings center KIOSK is functional.
Perform cashier and front end tasks as scheduled or as needed.
