• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Prior experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk.

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage, and assist customers.
• Process customer transactions through the check lane quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Understand the POS system and handle tenders (Cash, Checks, Credit, Debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons) according to policy.
• Follow policies for cash handling and loss prevention.
• Adhere to guidelines on restricted sale items (alcohol, tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies to the Scan Coordinator.
• Stay current with ads and promotions; maintain food safety standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and report unsafe conditions.
• Provide helpful, friendly service to all customers, including minors and seniors.
