Job summary

ShopRite of Daleville in Moscow, PA is seeking a front-end associate to deliver a great customer experience. You will scan, price, bag products, handle payments, and respond to inquiries with a friendly, professional manner.

You must be able to stand for long shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and work with diverse customers. Training and safety policies guide every task as part of our service priorities.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, speaking English proficiently.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Able to lift 25 lbs and occasionally 50 lbs.
• Interact with Customers in a friendly and helpful way.
• Work cooperatively with others.
• Adhere to time and attendance policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment.
• Greet Customers and provide prompt, courteous service and assistance.
• Enter Customer information into database for eligibility of Wakefern programs.
• Understand cash register operation and follow cash handling procedures.
• Know the store's product locations and types.
• Handle returns accurately and per policy.
• Follow Company procedures for price checks and refunds.
