Job summary

ShopRite of Daleville in Moscow, PA is seeking a Store Associate to deliver a great customer experience by pricing, stocking and rotating merchandise in the Grocery Department. You will maintain a neat, clean, and visually appealing department and perform related tasks safely and efficiently in accordance with company policy.

The role requires English proficiency, basic math skills, the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 60 lbs. and work cooperatively with others.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Stand/walk for full shift.
• Regularly lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally 60 lbs.
• Work with fresh, dried and/or processed products.
• Tolerate dust and cleaning agents.
• Climb a ladder to access overhead items.
• Interact with Customers in a friendly, helpful way.
• Work cooperatively with others.
• Maintain punctual and regular attendance.

Responsibilities

• Keep a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment.
• Clean and sanitize work surfaces and equipment.
• Greet customers and provide prompt service.
• Observe safety regulations when operating equipment.
• Maintain price labels and perform price changes as needed.
• Stock and rotate merchandise, keep displays stocked and faced.
• Open cartons and rotate product safely.
• Maintain sanitation and QA standards in the department.
• Unload and transport merchandise to the department.
• Follow ShopRite service priorities: Safety, Friendliness, Presentation, Efficiency.
• Attend department training programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
