Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to deliver exceptional shopping experiences through eager, informed help at the front end. You will greet customers, assist with complex transactions, and support store operations with scheduling and presentation standards.

You will promote loyalty programs and warranties, uphold safety policies, and foster an inclusive, collaborative team environment across the store.

Qualifications

• Retail sales or cashier experience preferred.
• Ability to stand and lift 15–35 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to stand for long periods and walk.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet teammates and customers, proactively understanding needs and supporting their shopping experience.
• Serve as primary customer service provider at the front end and liaison between customers and management.
• Provide register coverage and support cashiers during complex transactions.
• Assist department scheduling, direct workflow, daily assignments, and monitor presentation standards.
• Uphold merchandising and presentation standards with floor sets, signage, and price changes.
• Promote and train teammates on customer loyalty programs, warranty sales, and private label credit card enrollment.
• Adhere to safety, loss prevention, and SOPs; maintain confidentiality of company information.
• Create an inclusive store environment where everyone feels welcome, safe, and respected.
• Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store.
