Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Service Coordinator to guide front-end operations, coach team members, and optimize customer experience. You will coordinate checkout flow, maintain standards, and assign work to cashiers, service desk, and courtesy teams to meet productivity goals.

You will also lead training, monitor performance, and participate in community programs, driving satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Completion of the Service Coordinator training curriculum.
• Ability to operate cash register system and financial services equipment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Organizational and multi-tasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate handoffs between shifts with peer leadership.
• Lead department survival walk and shift hand-offs.
• Monitor shrink and financial outcomes, escalate as needed.
• Champion community program participation and lead by example.
• Serve as certified trainer for team members.
• Train and mentor team members on the job.
• Act as SME for market programs and pilots.
• Assign tasks with team leader and ensure completion.
