Job summary

Walmart in McComb, MS, is seeking a store leadership professional to supervise hourly associates, hire and train staff, set clear expectations, and uphold our One Best Way service model. You will guide teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences across store operations, merchandising, and community engagement.

Responsibilities include driving store revenue, managing budgets, optimizing inventory and shrink, and implementing action plans to achieve profit goals.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• For facilities that sell firearms, CBC and training may be required.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all trainings (e.g., Academy, Open Door).
• Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership via Live Better U and Bellevue University is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, listening, and providing feedback.
• Drive store performance through sales, budgeting, and expense control.
• Ensure customer service excellence and adherence to company standards.
• Hire, train, mentor, and develop hourly associates; set expectations and recognize performance.
• Coordinate activities with stakeholders to meet customer and business needs.
• Promote a culture of belonging and integrity aligned with Walmart values.
