Job summary

Walmart Inc. seeks a store leadership professional to lead and develop teams, coach associates, and drive store performance at the Mount Juliet, TN location. You will manage budgeting, merchandising, and customer service initiatives, ensuring high standards and adherence to Walmart policies.

The role emphasizes coaching, operational excellence, and implementing change initiatives to enhance the customer experience and financial results.

Qualifications

2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
For facilities that sell firearms, CBC and Firearms Authorized Training may be required.
For facilities that sell only ammunition, a state Certificate of Eligibility may be required.
Associates will be required to attend and complete trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy, Open Door).

Responsibilities

Lead and develop teams by teaching training, listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback.
Drive store financial performance by reviewing PL statements, budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
Supervise hourly associates, hire, train, mentor, assign duties, and promote a sense of belonging.
Coordinate activities with stakeholders to meet customer and business needs and promote continuous learning.
