Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is looking for a Front-End Team Member to deliver a positive checkout experience, scan items, bag groceries, and assist customers to complete purchases accurately.

You will also keep the front end organized, rotate between tasks like handling transactions, collecting carts, restocking supplies, and maintaining checkout areas in a fast-paced store setting. We value friendly communication, basic math, and flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays;

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older (or 18 years of age or older, depending on local/state requirements).
• Completion of company cashier or front-end training upon hire.
• Basic math and communication skills required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a smooth and positive checkout experience by scanning items, bagging groceries, and answering customer questions.
• Keep the front end organized, clean, and running smoothly; rotate between transactions, cart collection, restocking, and upkeep.
• Support customers in a fast-paced environment and follow store policies and checkout procedures.
