Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Front-End Team Member to create a smooth, friendly checkout experience and help customers complete their purchases accurately as they head home.

You will rotate between tasks like scanning items, bagging groceries, restocking supplies, collecting carts, and maintaining the checkout area. Expect a fast-paced environment where adaptability, basic math, and clear communication keep the line moving.

Qualifications

• Age requirement per local/state law: 16+ or 18+ as applicable
• Completion of cashier/front-end training on hire
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Handle transactions accurately at the checkout.
• Bag groceries and assist with cart retrieval.
• Answer customer questions and provide friendly service.
• Keep the front-end area organized and clean throughout the shift.
• Restock supplies and maintain the checkout area.
