Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Front-End Team Member to provide a smooth checkout experience. You will scan items, handle transactions, bag groceries, and keep the front end clean and organized throughout the day.

Expect a fast-paced environment with varied tasks, from restocking to assisting customers. Requirements include 16+ (or 18+ as required), cashier training, basic math, and flexible hours; prior service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ (or 18+ depending on local/state rules).
• Completion of cashier/front-end training upon hire.
• Basic math and clear communication skills required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Prior customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Rotate between transactions, bagging and cart collection.
• Restock supplies and maintain a clean, organized checkout area.
• Handle cash, card and digital payments accurately.
• Provide friendly, efficient customer assistance throughout shifts.
