Job summary

Spec's Family Partners is seeking a Front-End Associate to deliver exceptional guest service at the register and assist with checkout operations. You will greet guests, process payments, and suggest add-ons while maintaining accuracy and friendly communication.

Responsibilities include scanning items, applying discounts, and ensuring proper pricing. You may assist with stocking, tagging, and keeping the checkout area tidy and compliant with safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Cashier experience preferred; training provided.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, comprehend and write simple instructions.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Must maintain valid TABC Beverage Sellers Permit or Food Handlers Permit.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register and access UPC codes to price items.
• Greet guests and use the service script; offer add-ons.
• Process payments; issue receipts and count change accurately.
• Scan items to ensure correct pricing and discounts.
• Assist with stocking, pricing and checkout station upkeep.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and adhere to safety rules.
