Job summary

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete Vallarta Supermarkets Cashier Training Program.
• Ability to count and perform simple math accurately.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Smile and greet customers while delivering extraordinary service.
• Operate cash register systems accurately and follow money handling procedures.
• Balance the cash drawer at shift start and end.
• Bag groceries and keep the check stand clean and organized.
• Follow safety and store policies for WIC, EBT, alcohol, and tobacco.
• Assist customers and call for management if needed.
