Job summary

Vallarta Supermarkets is looking for friendly Cashier team members to provide extraordinary customer service at the check stand. You will operate cash registers, balance tills, bag groceries, stockfront-end areas, and assist customers with a positive, efficient attitude.

Candidates should be able to count, perform math, and follow all store policies including WIC/EBT rules. Flexibility for afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required. No remote work.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and friendly personality.
• Ability to count and perform basic math accurately.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register systems accurately and follow money handling procedures.
• Balance the cash drawer at start and end of shifts.
• Bag groceries and keep the front-end area clean and organized.
• Provide speedy, accurate check-out service and assist customers as needed.
• Follow Vallarta’s standards for safety and service.
