Job summary

The Kroger Family of Companies is seeking associates in Clinton Township, MI for part-time Customer Service Desk roles. Open and close the desk, answer phones, and ensure compliance with all procedures. Weekend availability and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Six months cashier experience at Customer Service Desk
• Minimum age 18 (19 in some states)
• Able to pass a drug test
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work weekends, shifts, and overtime as needed
• Organize and prioritize tasks
• Knowledge of company policies and procedures
• Related retail experience

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and process sales with friendly service
• Handle cashier duties: open/close register, ring sales, tender transactions, bag items
• Maintain price discrepancy logs and clean checkstand area
• Answer phones and support store operations
• Process refunds, exchanges, money orders, bill pay, gift cards, and more
• Provide lottery services and licenses where applicable
• Open/close the Customer Service Desk and manage desk operations
• Provide lost and found support and handle customer issues professionally
• Support minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults as needed
