Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or combination of education and experience.
• Six months cashier experience to work at Customer Service Desk.
• Minimum 18 years of age (19 in some states for tobacco).
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and weekends.
• Ability to work any shift and overtime as needed; organize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and encourage associates to deliver excellent customer service.
• Perform cashier functions: open/close register, ring sales, tender transactions, bag merchandise.
• Complete file maintenance log for price discrepancies.
• Maintain cleanliness of checkstand area to housekeeping standards.
• Answer telephones and comply with corporate policies.
• Provide support for store initiatives and EAS tag checks as needed.
• Respond to pedestal activations and verify tag removal.
• Open/close the Customer Service Desk; process refunds, exchanges, and money orders.
