Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Front End Associate to deliver fast, friendly service and maintain the front-end standards across shifts. You will greet customers, assist with bagging and checkout, and help maintain accurate cash handling and accordance with store policies.

The role requires excellent communication, the ability to multitask, and adherence to store dress code. Training and CBT completion are part of the onboarding process, with a focus on customer satisfaction and efficient store

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
• Ability to perform cashier and service center functions.
• Must meet minimum age requirements for the role.
• Must meet physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly service to customers and maintain front-end standards.
• Greet customers by name when possible and engage calmly.
• Bag and handle groceries efficiently, assist with cart retrieval and checkout.
• Follow cash handling, refunds and policy procedures accurately.
• Ensure store area is neat, clean and well-presented at all times.
• Meet CBT and training requirements and perform other duties as assigned.
