Food Lion Royston Store 02841 is seeking a Front End Associate to deliver fast, friendly service in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will greet customers, scan orders, process payments, bag groceries, and keep the front end neat and organized while following standard procedures and Food Lion guidelines.

This role supports the Customer Service team to maximize sales through excellent service and teamwork in daily operations.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to perform the technical requirements of cashier and service center.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsabilidades

• Smile and provide prompt, accurate and friendly service while engaging customers to create a positive shopping experience.
• Greet each customer and use his or her name whenever possible.
• Unload customers' groceries from cart to belt and group items for easy bagging.
• Check the bottom of every cart and under all baby seats for items before completing an order.
• Follow bagging procedures for bags by type and handle payments per standard practice.
• Identify customers needing assistance and offer to take the customer's order to their car.
• Maintain alertness and call for assistance when needed to service customers per standards.
• Follow cash handling procedures and overrides and report register issues.
• Adhere to all company guidelines and safety procedures.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
