Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Front End Associate to provide fast, friendly service and maintain store presentation. You will greet customers, assist with bagging and cashier transactions, and ensure accurate cash control while upholding store standards.

Responsibilities include unloading groceries for efficient bagging, handling payments, and maintaining a clean front-end area. You will follow safety and policy guidelines and collaborate with team members to support customers.

Responsibilities

• Greet each customer and use their name when possible.
• Unload groceries from cart to belt and group items for bagging.
• Scan orders and handle payment transactions per standard practice.
• Follow cash handling procedures and overrides as needed.
• Maintain a neat and clean front-end area and report issues to management.
