Job summary

Whole Foods Market is hiring a Front End Customer Service/Cashier Team Member to assist customers during checkout, perform all register functions, and maintain attractive service displays. You will ensure courteous and efficient service, follow store SOPs, and support company programs and initiatives while upholding health and safety regulations.

You may perform assigned shopper tasks, assist with shift duties, and participate in training as needed.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong math and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Checks out customer groceries efficiently and accurately.
• Upholds regulations concerning sale of alcoholic beverages and taxation.
• Follows proper check, ATM, and credit procedures.
• Keeps Front End areas clean and stocked; manages own register.
• Provides excellent customer service and addresses needs promptly.
• Assists supervisor with training of new Cashier team members.
• Manages customer flow and reduces waiting time.
• Adheres to Weights & Measures, health, sanitation and safety procedures.
