Responsibilities

• Check out customer groceries efficiently and accurately.
• Uphold regulations concerning sale of alcohol and taxation.
• Follow cash handling procedures.
• Maintain clean and stocked Front End areas and per-item signs.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist with training of new cashiers.
• Help manage customer flow and reduce wait times.
• Participate in company programs as directed by leadership.
• Work shifts on time and attend required trainings and meetings.
• Communicate effectively with customers, team members and vendors.
• Merchandise and stock products according to procedures and standards.
• Report safety hazards and comply with sanitation requirements.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned.
