Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Customer Service & E-Commerce Team Member to assist customers at checkout, bag groceries, and support the service desk. Duties include cashiering, maintaining displays, and upholding health/safety standards while delivering friendly, efficient service.

Responsibilities cover efficient checkout, cash handling, training of new cashiers, and supporting store leadership to minimize wait times and improve customer flow. Team members must be flexible with shifts.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.

Responsibilities

• Checks out customer groceries efficiently and accurately.
• Upholds government regulations concerning sale of alcoholic beverages and taxation.
• Follows proper check, ATM, and credit procedures.
• Cleans and stocks Front End areas, including own register – changing tapes and ribbon as necessary.
• Follows all cash handling procedures – meeting and exceeding regional cashier variance policy.
• Assists supervisor in controlling customer flow and backed up lines.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers promptly and courteously.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper prep, stocking, and merchandising.
