Food Lion is seeking a Front End Associate to provide fast, friendly service at the Martinsville store. You will greet customers, handle payments, bag groceries, and keep the front end area tidy per standard procedures.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, reliability, and the ability to work with a team in a fast-paced retail environment. Training will cover POS operations and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to perform the technical requirements of cashier and service center.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsabilités

• Smile and provide prompt, accurate and friendly service to customers.
• Greet each customer and use their name when possible.
• Unload carts and help bag groceries as needed.
• Follow cash handling procedures and process payments.
• Maintain neat, clean front-end area and work station.
• Report register issues and ensure MVP kiosk availability.
