Job summary

SpartanNash is seeking a cashier at our Goshen, Indiana location to operate the register, scan items, and assist customers with bagging purchases. You’ll handle cash, checks, and coupons while delivering courteous service and ensuring accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of prior retail or related experience preferred.
• Good verbal communication, polite customer interaction.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize purchases and process payments.
• Bag customer purchases and assist at check-stand.
• Understand check-stand equipment and operate efficiently.
• Perform front-end duties and merchandising at check-stand.
• Communicate store programs, coupons, and in-store specials to customers.
• Adhere to policies on security, cash handling, and product handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the front-end area.
• Assist in stocking items as needed and follow PPE guidelines.
