Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a friendly Cashier to join our Customer Service & E-Commerce Team. You will assist customers at checkout, operate cash registers, bag groceries, and support the customer service desk while maintaining smiles and accuracy.

You will help ensure accurate pricing, follow cash handling procedures, and contribute to a clean, efficient front-end area. This role requires teamwork, strong communication, and a willingness to learn the store’s procedures and health & safety

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to handle cash accurately and follow procedures.
• Ability to work as part of a team and provide friendly service.

Responsibilities

• Checks out customer groceries efficiently and accurately.
• Upholds government regulations concerning sale of alcoholic beverages and taxation.
• Follows proper check, ATM, and credit procedures.
• Cleans and stocks Front End areas and registers, including sign and price accuracy.
• Maintains cash handling procedures and assists with training of new team members.
• Provides excellent customer service and answers phones promptly and courteously.
