Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is looking for a Front-End Team Member to help create a smooth checkout experience for customers. You’ll be the last step before customers head home, handling purchases accurately while keeping interactions friendly and efficient.

You’ll rotate between cashiering, bagging, restocking, and keeping the checkout area tidy. This fast-paced role suits someone who enjoys variety and strong customer service in a retail setting.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ (or 18+ depending on state)
• Completion of cashier/front-end training upon hire
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at checkout and respond to questions
• Process purchases with cash, card, and digital payments
• Scan items, bag groceries, and maintain checkout area
• Restock supplies and retrieve carts as needed
• Follow store policies and checkout procedures
• Adapt to changing tasks and customer flow throughout shifts
