Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Front-End Team Member to support checkout operations, assist customers, and ensure a smooth shopping experience. You’ll scan items, process payments, bag groceries, and maintain an organized front-end area throughout the shift.

The role involves standing for extended periods, flexible scheduling including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced grocery environment with weekly pay and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ (or 18+ depending on state/local rules)
• Completion of company cashier/front-end training on hire
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the checkout and help complete purchases
• Scan items, bag groceries, and handle transactions
• Keep the front-end area organized, clean, and stocked
• Restock supplies, collect carts, and support checkout operations
• Follow store policies and checkout procedures and adapt to changing customer flow
