Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a friendly Front-End Team Member to ensure a smooth checkout experience for customers. You will process transactions, help bag groceries, answer questions, and keep the front end organized and welcoming.

You should be comfortable standing for long periods, handling various duties, and adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Prior cashier or front-end training is valued, and you’ll join a team that supports growth and customer service

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ (or 18+ depending on local/state rules).
• Completion of cashier/front-end training on hire.
• Basic math and communication skills required.
• Flexible schedule incl. early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Handle transactions at checkout (cash, card, digital).
• Bag groceries and assist with bagging and cart retrieval.
• Answer customer questions and provide friendly service.
• Keep front-end area clean, organized, and stocked.
• Rotate between tasks: transactions, bagging, restocking, checkout maintenance.
