Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is hiring a Front-End Team Member to enhance the checkout experience and ensure accurate purchases. You will handle transactions, assist customers, and help keep the front end organized and efficient throughout shifts.

The role supports a fast-paced environment with varied tasks, including bagging, cart retrieval, and stocking. Prior customer service experience is welcome, with training provided at hire.

Qualifications

• Friendly, clear communication during checkout and customer assistance.
• Processing purchases accurately, including cash, card, and digital payments.
• Accuracy in scanning, pricing, produce codes, and order completion.
• Handling cash transactions, counting change, and balancing registers.
• Managing multiple tasks while maintaining steady workflow.
• Assisting with bagging, cart retrieval, stocking, and general front-end upkeep.
• Recognizing and addressing pricing, transaction, or customer service questions.
• Following company policies, register procedures, and checkout processes.
• Comfort managing changing tasks and customer flow throughout the shift.
• Comfort with standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs., and working indoors and outdoors as needed.
