Job summary

Heinen's is seeking a Retail Professional to join our team in Illinois. The role involves operating scanners and cash registers, processing payments accurately, following store procedures on coupons and alcohol, and maintaining proper packing standards while supporting store knowledge sharing and daily task prioritization.

The position requires strong communication, independence, and flexibility to work weekends and evenings, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and endure varying weather

Responsibilities

• Operate scanners, scales, cash registers and other electronics.
• Accept payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate.
• Follow all store procedures regarding coupons, gift cards or the purchase of specific items, such as alcohol.
• Follow company standards for proper packing.
• Acquire and share knowledge of the store.
• Prioritize daily work based on varying business needs.
• Attend required corporate meetings and training classes.
• Comply with all personal and food safety company standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
