Job summary

The Venetian Resort Las Vegas is seeking a Traffic Control Officer to represent the property to arriving and departing guests and direct traffic in the Porte Cochère. This safety-focused role requires strong guest service and clear English communication, with responsibilities including directing traffic, assisting guests, and maintaining adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age.
• Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain any other certification or license, as required by law or policy.
• Previous experience dealing with customers one-on-one.
• Must provide current DMV report.
• Must be willing to work outdoors in seasonal heat (100F+) or cold as well as inclement weather or adverse weather conditions.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in spoken and written form.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
• Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Direct traffic on the front drive in a safe and efficient manner.
• Anticipate guests’ needs and respond promptly to inquiries.
• Be familiar with hotel services/features and local attractions to respond to guest inquiries.
• Identify and explain hotel features to guests.
• Provide a service or assistance to meet the needs of a guest, client or customer.
• Safety is an essential function of this job.
